On October 22, Honda Racing Corporation USA said it will show its first retail performance parts at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, November 3 to 6, with sales starting in March 2027. The launch list is short: a 19-inch forged wheel for the Civic Type R and Integra Type S, an 18-inch forged off-road wheel for the Passport and Pilot, and a Borla cat-back exhaust for the same two SUVs. Here's the catch for us. The parts go through Honda and Acura dealers and Honda's online DreamShop, and the release covers U.S. products only. It says nothing about Canada. Honda Canada's own newsroom hasn't mentioned HRC parts at all. So right now no Canadian dealer can promise you one of these.
It still matters. This is the first time Honda's own racing group is selling bolt-on parts through the dealer counter, not just showing concept cars. Two of the three launch parts are for the Passport and Pilot, not the sports cars. That tells you who Honda thinks will pay for upgrades: SUV owners who want their truck to look and sound tougher.
My prediction: By June 30, 2027, at least one of the three HRC launch parts will be orderable through Canadian Honda dealers. I think the Passport off-road wheel goes first, because the TrailSport is the Passport Honda Canada is pushing hardest this fall. I'm wrong if June 30 comes and none of the three can be ordered here.
