If Canadian assembly matters as a values decision, the CR-V is the only Honda SUV with Canadian assembly (along with the Civic Sedan, Civic Hybrid, Civic Coupe, Civic Si, and Accord in Plant 1).
Honda of Canada Manufacturing (HCM) in Alliston, Ontario is Honda's only Canadian assembly plant. Plant 1 has built the Civic family since 1986 (Civic Sedan, Civic Hybrid, Civic Coupe, Civic Si). Plant 2 has built the CR-V family since 1998 (CR-V gas and Hybrid). The Accord is also assembled at Plant 1 for the Canadian market. The Civic Hatchback does NOT come from the Ontario facility - it comes from a US assembly plant in the Midwest, with occasional units from Japan due to tariff-related production shifts.
