Honda Canada’s May Loyalty Dollars Expire in 6 Days — Here’s What You’d Be Walking Away From

CR-V loyalty $750, HR-V $500, Civic manufacturer support — all gone June 1. The June program hasn’t been announced. This is the moment to check your HFS eligibility.

Honda Canada’s May incentive program includes up to $750 in HFS Loyalty Dollars on eligible 2026 CR-V models and $500 on eligible 2026 HR-V models, available to current or recent Honda Financial Services lease or finance customers. All offers require vehicle delivery on or before June 1, 2026. The June incentive program has not been announced. Honda Canada

What it means: “Delivered by June 1” means paperwork complete and vehicle registered before midnight on Sunday — not started that day, and not “we’re working on it.” If you’re on the fence about a CR-V or HR-V and you have an expiring or recent HFS account, the math changes meaningfully on June 2. The June incentive calendar isn’t announced yet, but past resets don’t simply carry the previous month forward. Honda’s priorities shift with inventory. Right now, the CR-V TrailSport Hybrid is arriving at dealerships and represents Honda’s primary push for the summer. The June incentive architecture is more likely to concentrate support on that trim — and potentially on the Pilot refresh — than to maintain the broad $750 loyalty on CR-V LX and Sport. If you’re eyeing a base or mid-trim CR-V, the May program is the bird in hand. There’s a second layer to this: the Bank of Canada holds its policy rate at 2.25% until at least June 10, but Honda’s manufacturer financing rates aren’t BoC-linked. The 2.49% Accord Hybrid and 2.99% Civic Hybrid financing rates are gone June 1 regardless of what the Bank does on June 10. A BoC cut — if it comes — flows into prime, then into prime-linked auto loans, with a 4–8 week lag. Honda’s manufacturer rates expire in 6 days.

My prediction: Honda Canada’s June incentive reset will restructure loyalty support away from base CR-V and HR-V trims and toward the CR-V TrailSport Hybrid. By September 2026, HFS Loyalty Dollars on standard CR-V non-hybrid trims will either be reduced or folded into a broader conditional offer rather than the current clean cash-off-purchase structure. Customers eligible for loyalty dollars on an LX or Sport CR-V today are looking at the cleaner offer — not the June equivalent.

If you’re buying right now: If you have a current or recently closed HFS lease or finance account, check your loyalty eligibility today — call the dealership or log into your HFS account. If you qualify, the $750 on CR-V and $500 on HR-V need to be used before June 1. That’s Sunday. The calendar is working against you, not for you.
