What it means: I already walked how the extra months work on September 4, and the model-by-model bonus split on September 13. Today’s fact is the deadline. Fourteen days is enough time to get a written Honda Financial Services quote and not enough time to wait for the October 28 Bank of Canada announcement to rewrite this month’s grid. Stretch Lease is still extra payments at the same advertised rate, not a gift. If the 28- or 40-month structure is what makes the car fit, the document that matters is this month’s quote, dated before the 30th.
The 2027 CR-V is still the one that is not on that honda.ca Stretch Lease list. Passport, Pilot, Odyssey, Civic Si and Prelude are not on it either. If those are the cars you actually want, this countdown is not your lever — the rest of the September program is, and that still has to be confirmed on the exact VIN.
My prediction: By October 7, 2026, Honda Canada’s October national offers on honda.ca will still advertise a 28-month or 40-month Stretch Lease term on at least one of 2026 CR-V, 2026 Civic or 2026 Accord. I will be wrong if none of those models shows a 28- or 40-month term by that date.
If you’re buying right now: If a written September quote already fits, do not wait for October on the hope Stretch Lease gets richer — extra months are not a rate cut.
