Is the 2027 Honda HR-V bigger than the previous model?

Slightly. The current-generation HR-V — the redesign that arrived for 2023 — is about 8.7 inches (220 mm) longer and roughly 1.8 inches (45 mm) longer in wheelbase than the previous generation — Honda stretched the body and pushed the wheels outward to free up rear legroom and cargo depth. Cargo volume behind the 2nd row is now around 690 L (24.4 cu ft) — close to the older Civic Hatchback. For a subcompact SUV, the 2027 HR-V is genuinely usable for a couple or small family.

Does the 2027 Honda HR-V have a hybrid option?

No — the 2027 HR-V uses a 2.0L 4-cylinder gas engine (158 hp, 138 lb-ft) mated to a CVT. Honda has not announced a hybrid HR-V. If you want a hybrid Honda in this size class, the closest answer is the Civic Hybrid (slightly larger, much more efficient). For an HR-V-sized hybrid from another brand, look at the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid or Kia Niro Hybrid.

Is the 2027 Honda HR-V good in snow?

Yes for GTA winters. Sport and EX-L Navi trims come with standard Real Time AWD, plus 7.3 inches of ground clearance, hill descent control, and heated seats (the LX 2WD sits at 7.0 inches). For most GTA plowed streets, an HR-V with all-season tires handles winter fine. For cottage-country deeper snow, a dedicated winter tire set is the upgrade that matters more than AWD.

Which 2027 Honda HR-V trim should I buy?

For most GTA buyers, Sport is the sweet spot — standard AWD, moonroof, heated leather steering wheel, 18-inch black alloys, dual-zone climate, and 6-speaker audio. LX is the lowest-price way in, and it's offered in both 2WD and AWD. EX-L Navi is for buyers who want leather, navigation, and the upgraded 8-speaker audio.

Where is the 2027 Honda HR-V built?

Honda de Mexico in Celaya, Guanajuato — same plant that builds the global HR-V. Not Canadian-built like Civic and CR-V (Alliston, Ontario). The Celaya plant has built HR-V since the current generation launched with strong build quality.
